Stephen is a talented multi-instrumentalist who has been performing and teaching for over 30 years in a variety of groups and genres. He is a self-taught musician and has played harmonica, guitar, ukulele, keyboard, saxophone and vocals professionally, both nationally and internationally. He first picked up a harmonica over 50 years ago, largely influenced by both the Chicago and early British blues scenes. He currently plays in the locally based blues band “Burning Hands” and goes by the stage name of “Flaming Lips”.
