Bryan and Mikaela are a dynamic duo with a shared passion for all things fungi. Much like the interconnective matrix enmeshing all of nature's organisms, they draw from they're life experiences for collaborative creative innovation. They aspire to integrate segregated practices into a thriving ecosystem.

Bryan worked as a chef for nearly a decade, where he experienced the effects of different farming practices on food quality. This inspired an interest in soils and soil health, fungi being a key contributing decomposer.

Mikaela has an education in sport sciences and human physiology which has many parallels with the biochemistry of nature. She worked for Life Cykle growing and creating fungi extracts followed by managing an oyster mushroom grow room and selling at the local markets.

Bryan and Mikaela bonded over a shared fascination with the world of fungi. They birthed they're business Alchemistic Fungi with the dream of providing medicine for all of nature's organisms, eco-friendly solutions and inspiring it's infinite potential through education. Fungi's exponential growth and ability to adapt to an incredible diversity of foods, keeps them interested in how fungi can be cooperative alongside humanity as a source of food, medicine, plant ally, nature's recycler, connection and so much more.
