Tristan Alaba is an Australian singer, songwriter, musician and producer. Known for his gentle, melodic songs with witty, philosophical lyrics, he has attracted attention through his project Aussa Nova, which draws upon a hybrid of Brazilian and Australian styles. Tristan studied Composition and Production at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney; he hosts songwriter circles and open mics, and has taught music since 2005.
