Angela is a certified organic farmer from Tuntable Creek, Northern NSW. Angela has a life-time of gardening experience across NSW, and is excited to be joining the team at Byron Community College. Angela obtained an Associate Diploma in Applied Science in the 80’s in Lismore. More recently Angela has gained a Certificate IV in Organic Farming (North Coast TAFE), a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) from Djanbung Gardens; and a Certificate in Nutrition Farming (Nutritech).

Angela currently teaches elements of the PDC held at the Permaculture Education Centre, Djanbung Gardens with Robyn Francis and the team, this includes, soil science, zone 1 production, plant nutrition and pest and disease management. Angela also runs a small certified organic farm in the Tuntable Creek valley.

Angela is looking forward to helping locals establish productive, organic home vegetable gardens - "I really enjoy the teaching experience and love helping people gain the knowledge and inspiration to produce a variety of healthy food from their own gardens, using sustainable, organic methods"
