Maive Jackson Collett has been writing poetry since she was thirteen. She performed her poetry at the Café L Ábsurd in Balmain in the '80’s and published in a women’s anthology. Maive has completed a Bachelor of Adult Education online with University of Tasmania. She has a TAE certificate in training. She completed a Graduate Certificate in Arts (Writing) which is the first stage in the online Masters offered by Swinburne University of Technology. Maive555 is the title of her wordpress blog and she is developing a social presence with LinkedIn and Facebook. She tutors in HSC English locally and edits professionally. The NSW Editor’s society has welcomed her as an associate member. The Northern Rivers Writer’s Centre is another important foundation and she loves the Byron Bay Writer’s Festival!
