Nick has spent a lifetime invested in food, clay and art. He is passionate about teaching, empowering creativity and exploration in the kitchen and studio. Taking ideas from art, design, music and poetry, and weaving them together with a creative kitchen practice, he will help you develop your own creative process to find freedom in your cooking and your art.

Nick has a special interest in breaking down complex concepts into understandable pieces so that you can find simple and beautiful systems that let your creativity flourish. Nature and intuition are powerful teachers, and he draws on these as the basis of his teaching practice.
With a diverse career including ceramic practice and education, freelance cooking with Sarah Glover, cocktail bartending and studio photography, he brings together these disciples into a unified creative process. He currently teaches ceramics at The Byron School of Clay, produces work as Studio Enki, and is a food and artwork photographer at www.nicholashannah.com
