James has been learning the art of mushroom cultivation for the last four years. From humble beginnings learning from many mistakes, he is now co-owner of a large scale mushroom growing facility in Newrybar, specializing in medicinal mushrooms. He has taught workshops at Northey Street City Farm, the Mullumbimby community gardens, Grounded permaculture gathering and other festivals.

"I love sharing the magic and wonder of mushroom growing, simplifying the process and making it applicable and accessible to a people growing for pleasure or profit. I truly believe in the power of mushrooms for human and planetary healing, integrating them into permaculture practice and following the Radical Mycology ethos of open source sharing of knowledge.
