Paul and Esther Button’s philosophy in teaching Certificate IV in Small Business Management at Byron Community College is that if they’re having fun, so will the students! Their diverse backgrounds allow them to bring the different aspects of business alive in an exciting and challenging style – exploring and clarifying business ideas and opportunities, researching market trends, identifying legal and risk requirements, ensuring sustainability, marketing, promotions and so much more.
Paul is an Architect with extensive experience in property development, project management, people management, business development and business coaching. He has owned several highly successful businesses in the UK, UAE and Australia, as well as working for multi-national organisations. His passion is creativity, ceramic art and lateral thinking.
Esther’s background is in hospitality, human resources, training and development, international education management, marketing and executive coaching. Her passion is health and fitness – as a qualified Personal Trainer she has extensive knowledge in fitness and nutrition.
Paul and Esther are inspired by seeing students develop their business ideas from concept to reality. They offer a wealth of experience, knowledge and encouragement to the students.
