Tomo Nishi – Tutor profile
I am originally from Japan and have been living in Australia since 2004. I started to explore the world of preserves and ferments from organic vegetables and fruits growing on our organic farm in Tweed valley. Cooking with fresh produce to create healthy yummy meals has been always my greatest passion. I especially enjoys cooking traditional Japanese foods and sharing my cooking skills with other people. In the last 4 years, I have been teaching traditional Japanese home cooking, Miso making and Soy Sauce making. Cooking techniques used in my classes are very easy and simple, and the result is very tasty and allows to enhance natural taste of ingredients.
