Katrina runs an ethical/sustainable brand called Everybody Sun & Swimwear which is in it’s second summer. She is also an active and passionate mememebr of the ethical and sustainable fashion movement.

Katrina makes clothing from wedding dresses to costumes for performers from her home studio which she has run for over 20 years. The costumes are usually up cycled clothing, fabrics and trims or made from recycled materials like carseat belts. Over hthe years she has come to realise that some of the most loved clothes are the ones that are upcycled, recycled or repaired in some way.

Katrina also runs workshops at festivals that involved teaching both adults and children how to make lanterns, dreamcatchers, hats and more from recycled materials. In 2011 she ran a 6 week workshop program in the lead up to the Ukitopia festival teaching adults to build, sew, paint and create a collection of costumes depicting local animals that were worn in the opening ceremony.
