Wendy has a rich and varied background in technology and learning. She worked for the BBC in London for 8 years in a variety of roles including Interactive Learning Producer, Technology Co-ordinator and New Media Trainer. While at the BBC she acquired her Masters Degree in Advanced Learning Technologies, she also has a BSc in Environmental Science. When she returned to Australia she started an eco-tourism business in Byron Bay, she attained her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and now teaches part time at the college. Courses Wendy has taught at the college include; Certificate IV Tourism, Eco Tourism, websites for small business, Online Retail, Tech Savvy Seniors and Tablets and Smart Phones. Both as a tutor and tour guide Wendy loves to ensure that people learn new things in a safe, friendly and fun environment.
