Landscape has always been at the forefront of my art practice, informed by travelling and living in four states of Australia, all with their different weather patterns, topography and features. In particular water in all its forms – clouds, rain, streams and ocean has kept me fascinated as a subject for painting.
I have exhibited in a number of Melbourne Galleries as well as locally at Tweed River Regional Gallery, Ballina Regional Community Gallery and the Lone Goat Gallery in Byron.
My teaching career includes secondary teaching and tertiary experience at RMIT University Melbourne, as well as conducting private classes and tuition for adults in my studios. I have conducted workshops at the National Gallery of Victoria, and here in Byron Bay. Further afield I have led field trips for artists to Fowlers Gap Research Station north of Broken Hill.
For me teaching and art are inseparable companions, enabling me to share what I love to do.
