Frank Bittner
My background:
Hi, my name is Frank Bittner and I am a Movement & ERGO Coach. My career initially started out in the world of finance where I found myself spending most of the day “stuck” at the desk. During this time I also trained to compete in IRONMAN’s and Ultra marathons. After battling a few injuries, I realised that sitting and inactivity at work was damaging my body and I needed to do something different. The changes I made to my work station, along with specific routine mobility and strength exercises changed the way I moved and the way I felt about my body.
This has ignited a strong passion in me to share this knowledge I have about how to move better, move more and move pain free. Whether you are a desk bound worker battling lower back pain, an athlete wanting to improve your performance or someone who simply wants to have an active and happy retirement, I am very positive I can help you achieve your goals.
My experience:
- Worked as a Personal Trainer for Fitness First for several years
- Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer at Optimum Health Solutions in Yamba
- Master Workshop Spinal and Shoulder Girdle
- Workshops for several local education facilities e.g. Byron Bay High School & Southern Cross Distance Education
- Expert in setting up a healthy and movement rich workplace, whether being deskbound, on your feet the whole day, or constantly needing to lift light or heavy objects or operate machinery
- Teaching hospitality staff how to stand and maintain good posture throughout the day
My qualifications:
- BSc (Hons) Bus.Adm.
- MSc Mgmt. & Marketing
- Cert III & IV in Fitness
- Certified Triathlon and Swim Coach
- Working with Children Check
- Senior First Aid
