Chris Mallory is a local musician who travelled the world with his guitar and songbook for six years before returning to Australia to study at Griffith University’s prestigious Bachelor of Popular Music program.

During his studies, Chris honed his songwriting skills by learning the art of feedback and self-reflection. Now a multi-award winning songwriter, Chris' songs have been played nationally on Triple J, and on ABC’s Australia All Over.

Songwriting collaborations from the pen of Chris and his wife Kara have been featured in the top 10 of the AMRAP Regional Music Charts and won the 2015 NCIEA Dolphin Award for Song of the Year.

Having recently become a father, Chris is now ready to share his own understanding of the songwriting process with local songwriters.
