Chef Wilson Aguiar is Brazilian by birth but Australian by heart and soul. He comes from a traditional “mineira” family which is full of stories and flavors in everything they do.
He began his professional career in advertising strolling through sales, events, marketing and catering management.
In 2008, Wilson worked alongside renowned head chef, George Francisco, from “Jonah's”, an award-wining restaurant located in stunning Whale Beach, Sydney.
In Brazil from 2010 to 2013, he worked for world renown chef Alex Atala, and his partner as well as entertainment businessman Facundo Guerra.
Wilson is now based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, sharing his family’s most traditional recipes with you. Delicious recipes he learnt as a child by his grandmother’s wood fired stove – and brought to you now with locally sourced ingredients.
