Hi. I have been teaching teaching the Certificate IV TAE, and before that TAA, and before that Assessment and Workplace Training, for about 15 years now. I’ve also taught permaculture, community development, and governance of community organisations. I have a motley collection of qualifications including a Graduate Diploma in Vocational Education and Training and a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, and an eclectic set of interests including permaculture, gardening, cooking, blogging, IT, and community development in rural towns amongst other things. I live with my partner in a multiple occupancy community west of Kyogle and we have two grown up kids. One unusual thing I’ve done in my life is live in Cuba for most of a year. I think I learned more about teaching by trying to do it in (very) bad Spanish than I ever did in English.
