Hi, my name’s Marie Mathieson and I’m a trainer in the Early Childhood Education and Care course. I’m an early childhood teacher with a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) from Macquarie University.

I’ve had over 25 years experience working in children’s services: both in preschools and long day care services, including 7 years as Director of Federal Community Children’s Centre.

Over the past 5 years I have worked for Byron Community College and TAFE delivering units for both the Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care courses.

I’ve also taught English as a second language to overseas students. I look forward to working in partnership with learners at the college in sharing my passion for quality early childhood education and care.
