I have always had an interest in growing food. Growing up in the inner west in Sydney I spent my afternoons and holidays with my Polish grandmother in her garden where she grew a lot of her own food. I was very passionate about gardening and loved creating ponds, planting fruit trees and digging veggie patches.

I later moved into Bush Regeneration. I worked in this field for 15 years. After becoming a father I realised I needed a change in direction. I wanted my kids to know where their food came from so I started converting my average suburban block into an aquaponics garden.

For the past 2 years I have been developing Aquaponics systems and designing edible landscapes as well as running Aquaponics courses.

I have always envisioned sharing my passion for growing food with the wider community. I believe growing our own food is the future of food in this country and globally.
