Janelle has had a passionate life-long intertest in Horticulture. She has developed gardens, and an integrated orchard, and an extensive bush regeneration project on her property at Tuntable Creek. Janelle has had a long association with Permaculture College Australia in Nimbin, where she taught for many years in integrated pest management, water systems, food forests and orchards and disaster management.

Janelle is a current member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture, Northern Rivers SoilCare and was a founding member of the Tuntable Creek Land Care. Janelle also holds a Bachelor of Science UNE, Horticulture Certificate, Diploma of Conservation and Land Management a Diploma of Management and Cert IV in Permaculture. Janelle is currently undertaking a Masters by Thesis in Phytochemistry at Southern Cross Plant Science in Lismore.
