From a young age I was instilled with an awe of the natural world. This lead to an interest in sustainability, a Zoology degree, being involved with local Landcare since 2002 and now running my own ecological restoration business for over 10 years. I also give training and tours for various organisations in various aspects of biodiversity conservation and sustainability. I have worked on many bush regeneration and environmental projects in the Byron Shire and enjoy sharing the knowledge I have gained with others. Byron Shire is in one of the most biodiverse areas of Australia but also has the highest numbers of threatened animal and plant species in the state. For these reasons we can get fantastic results in restoring our natural environment and know that we are helping protect endangered species that without assistance could well go extinct in our life time.
