Resume
Don Hansen is our training coordinator and course manager. Don has been with Byron Hospice for 15 years and has served as president, volunteer coordinator, and recently he’s focused on volunteer training. After years of spiritual seeking and travel, his personal experience and study of death and dying inspired him to join Amitayus. He remains active as a volunteer carer whenever possible. Don works part-time in the building industry, and lives in Mullum with his partner Paula – around the corner from his daughter and 2-yr-old grandson.
Tracy Santos is a social worker, psychotherapist and mother of four children. She is on our training committee at Byron Hospice/Amitayus, and has been a course facilitator and volunteer carer for several years. Within our ‘Last Aid’ course program, Tracy’s principal focus is on our exploration of Grief and Loss.
Lyn Kemp serves on our training committee and our management committee at Byron Hospice. Lyn has worked for the last 37 years in various carer and community roles in the Byron area. Last year we welcomed Lyn – and the years of experience as a carer that she brings with her – onto our training team.
