Bring Your Speech To Life

This course has no current classes. Please the waiting list.

Have you got a monologue, public address or speech to prepare, or does the idea of public speaking terrify you? Brilliant! This workshop is for you.

Come and demystify the subtle nuances of how to make a powerful speech.

This workshop will equip participants with a toolkit to bring a presentation or monologue to life. We will explore different actor training techniques and apply these methods to public speaking.

Prepare to meet your inner presenter. Perhaps you have an inner critic who tries to take the stage from your inner presenter? Learn to reassign the critic to a more productive role, off the stage and out of the front row seating, allowing space for you to make a genuine connection with the audience.

During the workshop, we will play with the importance of timing, key words, the ability to own your speech and breathe life into it. We will work with voice training, script dissection and analysis. We will look at the importance of language articulation, intonations, inflections and character development. Learn to present your work in a clear and effective way. Bring your speech from page to stage.
