Course testimonials:

  • Small group, friendly setting, great venue--many actual examples of sustainable living techniques we can see. The building, courtyard garden and aquaponics, all inspiring to see and learn from.
  • The room and was very nice (the builders employed some of the architectural techniques that were discussed in class). Teacher was very well-informed on the subject and could answer any questions. We got practical and made a small 'rammed earth wall' which you can use as a door stop (its brick shaped and beautiful). Only improvement, the teacher could use a presentation with pictures using the projector. Thank you Byron College, great facility. I will come again.
  • I'm interested in bioregions, so receiving coursework tailored specifically to our local conditions was very pertinent and highly useful.
