This innovative short course focuses on the practical art elements and principles of design required to produce a gorgeous abstract art work. This is heavily based on the practical side, with a small amount of theory explaining techniques. You will have time in class to focus on producing 3 or 4 small abstract pieces of your own.

What to bring:

  • Acrylic paint - 250 ml white, lemon yellow, yellow ochre, vermilion red, crimson red, burnt sienna, ultramarine blue, indigo blue, burnt umber
  • Canvas size: 100x70 cm or 60 x90 cm 
  • Brushes : 1 wide brush 10 cm, 1 medium bristle brush 3 cm, mix of medium flat and round brushes
  • 10 sheets of Cartridge paper A2 
  • Charcoal, soft pastels or graphite 

Important information

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will be your receipt and inform you of the dates, time and venue of your course, it will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.
