I have been producing custom-made mosaic works for local and interstate clients for the past ten years. I have always worked as an artist, in a variety of media, including silver, stone, glass, fabric, and ceramics, and have come to feel a real sense of ‘home-coming’ about creating mosaics. I find the combination of design and the practical, physical creation of a work very fulfilling.
I love the process of creating a new mosaic. Working with the client, designing, digging into their ideas and their visions, trying together to find that visual expression of their dream. It is a fulfilling process, this collaboration, especially seeing much of the following weeks or months are spent by myself in my studio or on site, translating that vision into something tangible.
