Have you ever wanted to explore stage performance?

In this course, you will be introduced to the world of theatre. We will explore the different types of theatre used as a storytelling platform across the world

In all cultures throughout the ages, theatrical storytelling has brought communities together, addressed current political issues, passed down ancestral stories, brought relief and entertainment, captured moments in history and challenged societal norms.

The course offers a brief introduction to some of the different theatre styles, from Improvisation Theatre, to Commedia Del Arte, Cabaret, Movement Theatre, Elizabethan Theatre, Tragedy, Comedy, traditional and contemporary Storytelling.

Whilst intensive theatre training is an extensive and ongoing exploration of many art forms, this course offers you a taster; a peek behind the theatre curtain, for those who are curious to learn some of the tools of thespian players.

Come and dip your toe into the performing arts pool, you just might want to strip right off and dive in, but that’s another course, for another time.
