Mental Health First Aid (Standard)

In this internationally recognised training you will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.

This is a 2-day (14 hour) course and will include a copy of the MHFA manual. Within a week of finishing, each participant is emailed a link inviting them to download and print off their certificate and to provide feedback on the course and the course presenter. Also, without further cost, each participant may choose to complete a brief 20 question assessment in order to achieve Mental Health First Aider Accreditation.

Course Fees

Course Fees are fully subsidised for eligible students, an admin fee applies to all enrolments.

ACE Program Fee: $0* (plus admin fee of $50) - most NSW residents are eligible for this subsidised fee!
Full Fee: $260

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.

*Student eligibility for ACE Program Fee

To be eligible for government subsidised training through the ACE Program, you must:

Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen; and
Live or work in New South Wales; and
Be aged 15 years or older;
No longer be at school or equivalent

Important information

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will be your receipt and inform you of the dates, time and venue of your course, it will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.

Students are required to be 15 years old and above at the time of enrolment.
