Laughter Yoga is a simple and innovative technique based on "acting happiness."  Fake and genuine laughter are both contagious and produce the same therapeutic values.  Laughter is indeed the best medicine. In this course you will learn how to enjoy the many physical and psychological benefits that come from laughing for the fun of it.

Modern research has proven that laughter has profound health benefits. If your body acts happy, your mind will follow. Laughter can become a habit, and your joy makes you more enjoyable to be around.

People of all ages and abilities can engage with Laughter Yoga.  Some of the course involves seated discussion while other activities can be quite aerobic. You can self-monitor and sit to laugh or observe if you need a break.

As with most exercise, it is advisable to consult your doctor prior to participating if you have heart disease or uncontrolled blood pressure, a hernia or other condition you are unsure about.

What to bring

  • Loose, comfortable clothing and active wear shoes

Important information

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will be your receipt and inform you of the dates, time and venue of your course, it will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.

Students are required to be 15 years old and above at the time of enrolment.
