Painting Landscapes With Acrylics

Capture the beauty of a landscape through an exploration of mediums, elements and principles of design! With a primary focus on acrylic painting and sketching, this class aims to teach a range of techniques from how to capture the perfect composition, mixing the exact colours, using traditional design principles to create the illusion of depth and realism within your sketches and paintings. This is a fun transformative class suitable for any artistic level!

At the conclusion of your course you will have produced several mini painted canvas' and one large artwork.

What to bring

• Refreshments
• A3 sketch pad
• canvas' (4 mini and 1 large)
• paint brushes
• acrylic paint (matisse brand in colours of phalo blue, cadium yellow, titanium white, red, magenta and orche yellow), 1 palette
• 1 set of grey lead pencils, an eraser, and sharpener
• 1 palette knife
