Time to unpack and explore the diverse styles and guitar tunings used in the world of the 12 bar Blues! The lessons will cover practical uses and applications for guitarists through both major and minor tonalities.

You will cover basic scales such as Blues and Pentatonic where students participate in improvising sessions building on existing knowledge and following tutors examples, eventually incorporating improvisational elements of Jazz that feature extended chord substitutions.

These exciting lessons will cover traditional Blues styles such as Acoustic finger picking from Folk to Mississippi Delta, featuring the iconic sound of bottle neck slide guitar using a range of open tuning, to Chicago Blues that introduced the Electric distorted guitar approach.

Suitable for intermediate to advanced players. This is a practical, hands-on workshop approach that welcome both acoustic and electric guitar players.
