If you’re one of the millions who bought a guitar, learned three chords (or less), got frustrated, and hasn’t picked up the guitar since, this class is for you! This is a fresh start, a chance to get over those 'beginner’s blues' and actually get to play stuff and enjoy it. So dust off your guitar, bring it along and join in. But be warned, you may well find you’ll acquire a lifelong addiction to playing your guitar.

What to bring

  • Your guitar
  • Notebook and pen
  • $10 to pay tutor for materials

Course testimonials:

  • Karl was so encouraging for beginners, and explained the theory very well.
  • I think it was pitched very good for beginners. Based on the fundamentals of guitar playing. Plus you got to learn a few easy to play (good) songs.
  • I thought that Karl did a great job. Supportive and encouraging. Follow up emails and videos allowed me to practise at home. Zoom lessons were a disruption but were used really effectively. I would highly recommend Karl to anyone wishing to learn to play the guitar.
